On April 26th (the day before my birthday) around 11pm, :iconeniigmis:, my boyfriend of 2 years and 2 months, asked me to marry him and I said yes.

We went to the State Park to one of our favorite spots to enjoy the bright, beautiful moon and stars overlooking the ocean. He hands me a small bag with a ring inside. I take it out of the bag to put on and tell him I love it and it's beautiful. He proceeds to ask for it back and throws it over the ledge near where we were standing. I'm puzzled and ask why would he do that. He takes a small box out of his pocket, kneels down, and says "Because I got you something better." and opens it before me. Inside is a beautiful silver ring covered in small diamonds which frame an absolutely stunning red ruby diamond. Unable to speak from shock, I take the ring from the box and place it on my left ring finger. I stare at it under the moonlight and while holding back tears, I tightly hug and kiss Brad and tell him I love him and I promise to be his wife.

It's still a very surreal feeling to know I am now engaged but, I couldn't be happier. Each day I look at this ring and smile knowing that one day, him and I will be married.
